ABOUT ST. ALOYSIUS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY,(EDUCATION)
St. Aloysius’ Institute of Technology, (Education) was established in 2018, as the newest fruit of the dreams and aspirations of the Catholic Diocese of Jabalpur, with the aim of holistic development of the students and their capacity building through carefully designed academic programmes and extramural activities. It is the sister concern of St. Aloysius’ College (Autonomous), Jabalpur (M.P.), Re-accredited A+ Grade by NAAC (CGPA 3.68/4.00). SAIT (Edu.) is affiliated to Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur (M.P.) and M.P.B.S.E., Bhopal (M.P.), for undergraduate education in Arts, Science, Commerce, Management and Education. It has also been recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college focuses on molding its students towards leadership, creative and innovative thinking so that they can progress and face the challenges and competition that lie ahead in the global market and in their life. The motto of the college Virtus in Arduo Strength through Striving propels the Aloysian Fraternity to overcome barriers through constant perseverance. It has carried a legacy of being a beacon of efficiency and excellence. The college is named after St. Aloysius’ Gonzaga, who harbored a burning desire to serve God and his fellow men.
About MP Council
Madhya Pradesh Council of Science & Technology, an autonomous organization under Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh, was instituted in 1981 with a view to optimize sustainable development of the State through science and technology. The major objectives of the Council include the identification of the areas where science and technology input may accelerate the development of the state in various sectors, contribution towards the development and improvement of scientific and technological capabilities in the State, ensure better utilization of the resources of the State and to promote modernization of the State through science & technology interventions.

Intellectual property rights (IPR) are ideas, innovations, and creative expressions on which the status of the property is conferred They are a type of legal protection for creations of the mind, such as inventions, literary and artistic works, symbols, and designs. The purpose of these rights is to encourage creativity and innovation by giving creators the exclusive right to use and benefit from their work and to profit commercially from them. This necessitates maintaining the protection and utilization of intellectual property rights, which is becoming increasingly important for colleges and universities.
The seminar on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) aims to address the crucial topic of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRS) in the context of awareness about IPR, scientific and technological advancements. Madhya Pradesh State has been witnessing rapid growth in research, innovation, and entrepreneurship, making it essential to create awareness about IPR protection. The state is home to various research institutions, universities, and industries that are generating valuable intellectual assets. However, the lack of knowledge about IPRs has resulted in potential risks of idea theft, infringement, and underutilization of innovations. This seminar intends to bridge this gap and equip participants with the necessary understanding and strategies to safeguard their intellectual.
An Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) activities are relevant as it spreads awareness to academicians, students, research scholars about IPR, empowers organizations to protect innovations, avoiding legal issues.
